PC (polycarbonate)

PC is robust and difficult to break; also it’s lightweight and sustainable; combined with its advantage of relatively low cost, PC is the most used material on the sunglasses market regarding mass production. 
Color painting and other designs are also easy to be applied on PC frames.

TR90 (Grilamid)

TR90 is a thermoplastic material that is lightweight, durable and flexible. TR90 is around 20% lighter than PC.
Because of the TR90 frame’s flexibility, it also makes them resilient to damage. The TR90 frames are made for active adults. Sports sunglasses made of TR90 are extremely comfortable because it provides great fitness.

TPEE (Rubber)

The material is most used on children’s sunglasses for its BPA free, flexibility and safety.
There are limits for branding designs on TPEE model, therefore, simple neutral colors painting or engraved logo on the frames are suitable for rubber sunglasses.

Eco-friendly (recycled) Material for sunglasses

Recycled and Eco-friendly materials are more and more welcomed nowadays despite their limit on designing and branding. Eco-friendly materials like PA6 or Tritan are available for our sunglasses.
PA6 (Polyamide 6) are made of recycled nylons. Tritan is BPA free, but not as flexible as TR90.
